"After a bout of phone tennis, Martin and I finally arranged a date and, although I could only spare an hour from work, he certainly made a lasting impression!
I work away a lot, so we only had one week a month to get to know each other, however, a series of accidents on my part (including an operation and a broken hand!) meant I've been off work a fair bit, thus we've got to spent lots of time together.
Some call it fate, others just bad luck, but either way I can definitely see the silver lining! We have been away to Ireland and Guernsey together and we're planning our first skiing holiday this Christmas... watch this space."
